when I go to Outlook I get a message box with the header: Internet Explorer Script Error. There is a yellow yield sign with a message that says: An error has occurred in the script on this page. That is followed with liines that say: Line 296, Char 1, Error Class not registered, Code 0, and URL Outloook today. Then there is a line that says: Do you want to continue running scripts on this page? That is followed by a box to select "Yes" and another box to select "No" I have selected yes many times and no many times and https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/308260 as far as I can tell there is no effect on what I am doing. Either way I can then use Outlook. I am just tired of haviing to deal with this message multiple tiimes each day. Guest Outlook 2003 I have a user who has Outlook configured to open Outlook Today automatically. She reports that for the last week or so she has been getting the following error: Internet Explorer Script Error An error has occurred in the script http://www.office-forums.com/threads/script-error-opening-outlook-today.1393700/ on this page. Line: 296 Char: 1 Error: Class not registered Code: 0 URL: outlook:today Do http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/563877/keep-getting-a-script-error-pop-up/ you want to continue running scripts on this page? I did a quick Google search on this error, and I found one or two reports of the error, but no solutions. Anyone know what causes this problem, and how to fix it? --Tom Thomas M, Jan 30, 2006 #1 Advertisements Thomas M Guest This issue has been resolved. I remembered that in Office applications internet explorer there is a Detect and Repair option off the Help menu, and that fixed the problem. --Tom "Thomas M" <> wrote in message news:... > Outlook 2003 > > I have a user who has Outlook configured to open Outlook Today > automatically.
