H Leboeuf, Jun 20, 2004 #2 Advertisements NDagen Guest I have been having this same problem, only with McAfee Virus Scan over http://www.pcreview.co.uk/threads/internet-explorer-script-error-when-installing-norton-internet-security.718015/ the last 2 weeks. I have been in contact with McAfee Support and FINALLY it has been determined that I have a corrupt version of Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, McAfee is entirely integrated into IE and I have to uninstall IE. The problem is that even though I have uninstalled IE and tried to reinstall, my computer tells me that I cannot continue the installation because a newer version of IE exists on my computer and then discontinues install. McAfee had me manually remove IE but the problem still exists. Your script error messages will continue and eventually it will get to the point where every IE page with give you a script error message. I haven't heard anything from Microsoft yet about this problem but I suggest you contact Norton Support and Microsoft. >-----Original Message----- >Paleeeeeze HELP!!
