I keep getting this script error: Line: 1517 Char: 1 Error: Invalid Argument Code: 0 URL: res//ieframe.dll/preview.js If I click yes or no the error just closes out. I have tried resetting all IE settings, disabling all add-ons, https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/313917-script-error-when-printing-from-ie-in-windows-7 uninstalling flash player and java, different printers, installing IE9, but nothing seems to work. When I uncheck the disable script debugging(Internet Explorer) in advanced settings and I try to print, the JScript Debugger finds this error: oRule.style.top = upTop + "in"; Any help would be appreciated. If you're running 64, see if you're running the 'normal' IE8 or the 64-bit IE8. This may fix it. If that doesn't, you may have some corrupted dll files that you can fix by running an elevated command prompt then typing: sfc /scannow 1 Sonora OP JaredV Mar 15,

Error Can't Print in IE or Livemail Discussion in 'Software' started by ugavirules, Jun 5, 2011. ugavirules Private E-2 Hi, I hope I'm posting in the correct place, if not please advise where I should post. I have a Dell Studio desktop PC running windows 7, IE9 and using windows live mail, awhile back and I can't be sure exactly when this began but I was using IE8 and had the same problems so downloaded 9 hoping for a 'fix'. I have checked and all of my windows updates are current. I use AVAST antivirus.... not sure what all I need to include about my system. If you need more info please ask. The problem is whenever I try to print from IE or windows live I receive this error message and it will not print no matter what I do. An error has occured with the script on this page Line 1527 Char 1 Error Invalid argument URL: res://ieframe.dll/preview.js I've looked all over the web and have had no success in correcting this problem, am hoping someone here might know of a solution. Thanks!
