Join Now I am finishing up setting up our new Server 2008 R2 Terminal Servers (or Remote Desktop Session Hosts if you prefer) and I am http://discussions.citrix.com/topic/290819-cannot-print-html-email-from-outlook-2003-since-upgrading-to-internet-explorer-9/ having some trouble with printing emails from Outlook. The printers are published from a print server via per Computer GPO. We have Dells, HPs, Richios, all sorts of brands and they all give the same error when internet explorer trying to print an email from Outlook: res://ieframe.dll /preview.js When I searched Google I got a lot of hits on people getting that script error when trying to print from Internet Explorer but I can print fine from IE, just not emails. Most of the solutions involved registering these dll's, so I tried that as well: regsvr32 ole32.dll regsvr32 oleaut32.dll regsvr32 actxprxy.dll and I have tried different print drivers as well, but nothing has worked. The internet explorer script odd thing is, it will print just fine from a printer that is redirected from the client, but none that are published from the print server. This is one of the last things holding me back from putting our new TS's into production and it's really frustrating! Any help/advice would be great! If I check the option "Read all standard mail in plain text" I can print. This isn't a permanent solution by any means but at least we can print out of Outlook now. 0 Jalapeno OP Best Answer nathan.muleski Aug 31, 2011 at 2:22 UTC We had to uninstall IE 9 to get emails to print in HTML. So we are using IE 8 for now. 0 This discussion has been inactive for over a year. You may get a better answer to your question by starting a new discussion. Cannot print HTML email from Outlook 2003 since upgrading to Internet Explorer 9 Started by JOYCE CARUTHERS , 20 July 2011 - 08:36 PM Login to Reply 3 replies to this topic JOYCE CARUTHERS Members #1 JOYCE CARUTHERS 2 posts Posted 20 July 2011 - 08:36 PM Since upgrading to Internet Explorer 9, we can no longer print HTML email from Outlook 2003. RTF and text are fine, but with HTML we get the following script error:An error has occurred in the script on this page.Line: 2053Char: 1Error: The system cannot find the file specified.Code: 0URL: res://ieframe.dll/preview.jsIf the email has an option to view in web browser, it will print, but you are missing the email header information. We can save the email message locally, open it, and print it.We have tried adding the registry entry below that was suggested on a couple different forums, and this will print the email without images.HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\PrintingCreate a DWORD and name it "Force RTF Printing" (without the ") and give it the value 1 (hex).Has anyone else had this issue and found a resolution that will allow printing an HTML email directly from Outlook? 1288-290819-1569629 Back to top Nicolas Thaesler Members #2 Nicolas Thaesler 2 posts Posted 21 July 2011 - 06:02 AM Hi Mate,I can confirm that registry entry resolved the printing issue for me (win2k8R2 with XA6).
