on 10/10/2012 by Rob Childs Problem: Internet Explorer Crashes, error logs shows that the Module: oleaut32.dll has crashed with error code: 0xc0000005 Solution: 1) Load elevated command prompt. 2) Type: regsvr32 oleaut32.dll 3) If you are on 64bit Windows, then type: CD c:\windows\syswow64 4) (64bit only) Type: regsvr32 oleaut32.dll (a second time from the Syswow64 Directory) 5) Complete - Reboot PC and should have fixed the problem This entry was posted in Uncategorized and tagged 0xc0000005, IE9, internet explorer, OLEAUT32 by Rob Childs.
