Sometimes I get an error code and sometimes I don't. I tried to get apple to do something about it however mine is also out of warranty so no luck. I have read about a lot a people having syncing issues like this with their ipod classic and I am kind of amazed that apple is not willing to fix this issue. If I get it fixed or have any luck with apple I will post

I got it in May of 2006, and it has worked flawlessly. Until now. I manage my iPod manually, and it's been working out fine, until the other day. I added some tracks, but when it got to the syncing part after it loads them onto my iPod, a message comes up reading "iPod could not be synced. An unknown error occurred (-48)." The song will show up on my iPod in iTunes, and it will play fine (in iTunes), but the songs aren't there when I unplug my iPod. I don't want to have to restore my iPod because I don't have all the songs on my computer and there isn't enough room to put them there. Help please! 11-11-2007, 06:43 PM #2 awoloszynski@ho Freshman Lounger Join Date: Oct 2007 Posts: 8 permalink Unfortunately I don't have an answer for you but I'm having a similar problem with my 2nd generation nano. My songs still show up on my iPod but I get the same error everytime that I sync. 11-13-2007, 09:47 AM #3 toxicserj Freshman
