After digging it out of the archives and loading the project onto an XP machine it is now running into problems. In the code I am trying to set an Excel.Worksheet object variable to the sheet object of an Excel.Workbook. Here's an example of the error in loading source code... Dim objSht2 As Excel.Worksheet Set objSht2 = objWkb.Worksheets(2) The above error message gets generated upon execution of the second line where I attempt to set the worksheet object. I am using OfficeXP and reference the "Microsoft Excel 10.0 Object Library" in the VB project. I know this is kind of obscure but does anyone have any ideas where I can start looking to try to track this error down? Thanks! Note code snippets posted are just that and do not include error handling that is required in real world applications, but avoid On Error Resume Next dim all variables as required as often i have done so elsewhere in my code but only posted the relevant part come back and mark your original post as resolved if your problem is fixed pete Re
