I am by no means a pro when it comes to debugging classic asp errors. However, I know enough to figure out what is going on, but not completely sure on how to deal/eradicate with this issue: Issue: sql query could return nothing which would result in my array being empty, which is giving me the error specified in the title. Code: 233 while not rs.eof 234 varCampArray = split(trim(rs("Notes")) & "", ";") 235 If ubound(varCampArray) > 0 Then 236 varCampArray2 = split(varCampArray(0) & "", "=") 237 End If 238 if ubound(varCampArray2) > 0 then 254 wend lines 239-253 are irrelevant(just calculations based off the array and another query) and just wanted to add the 'wend' statement so noone thinks its not properly coded. Extra Info: This is for our custom vb application, and for this particular asp file, the user goes to Report>Daily>Summary, and from there the user selects a certain day to get financial summary for that day. If I run the report for today, it runs and I get figures, if I run it for the 26th of this month, it runs and executes with no errors. If I run it for yesterday(4/27/2016) I get this in the reportViewer in our vb app: (Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d') Type mismatch: 'ubound' /apps/Program14/reports/trans_summary.asp, line 238 I havent tried to fix this yet, as I am unsure as to how to handle this issue. I even looked at the iis log file and its error was 500 0 0 130. Then configured IE to properly show details on the error during runtime. And that is what it spit out, and am currently stuck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ive go

fellow coders: My works VB program uses some .asp files to create reports. This is the error I am getting: Microsoft VBScript runtime https://www.daniweb.com/programming/software-development/threads/414840/vbscript-runtime-error-800a000d error '800a000d' Type mismatch: 'ubound' /reports/wpoa_trans_summary.asp, line 238 I navigated to line 238 in the asp file and here is the code: if ubound(varCampArray2) > 0 then varRentalID http://www.visualbasicscript.com/VBS-Runtime-error-800A000D-Type-mismatch-m81496.aspx = varcamparray2(1) *line 238 rs2.Source = "SELECT PadRate,Price FROM CampRentals JOIN CampPadRates ON " & _ "CampPadRates.ID=CampRentals.PadRate WHERE CampRentals.ID=" & varRentalID rs2.Open() I must further explain that "Price" microsoft vbscript is not in CampRentals and is located in CamPadRates. I am looking for a solution to this issue but even an explanation would help me a lot right now for this current issue. Thanks in advance for helping, will give rep points for intelligent and well explained responses. vb.net SyncMaster170 110 posts since Sep 2011 Community Member microsoft vbscript runtime 2Contributors 7Replies 8Views 4 YearsDiscussion Span 4 Years Ago Last Post by Reverend Jim 1 Reverend Jim 1,326 4 Years Ago What is your declaration for varCampArray2? My first guess would be that it is not an array but a collection. Ubound is for arrays. 0 Discussion Starter SyncMaster170 4 Years Ago varCampArray = split(trim(rs("Notes")) & "", ";") If ubound(varCampArray) > 0 Then varCampArray2 = split(varCampArray(0) & "", "=") 1 Reverend Jim 1,326 4 Years Ago That's not a declaration. That's an assignment. 0 Discussion Starter SyncMaster170 4 Years Ago That is all I am seeing in my entire project mate, it is declared at the top like this: dim varCampArray2 Then when I hit Ctrl + F to search for varCampArray2, hit "Find Next" it goes to this line: varCampArray2 = split(varCampArray(0), "=") 1 Reverend Jim 1,326 4 Years Ago Ah. I skipped over the most important part. "vbScript", NOT VB.Net. I'm looking at varCampArray = split(trim(rs("Notes")) & "", ";") If ubound(varCampArray) > 0 Then varCampArray2 =
