You will find it under Tools->Internet Options-> Advanced. By do this and then regenerating the error you will hopefully get a better error message than the one described. Hope this helps... This might not be the fix for everyone but this worked for me. I work w/ both an sql server DB as well as an oracle 9i DB. My Provider looked like this.strConn = "DSN=Test;UID=IT;PWD=WEB"Why did i not provide a provider? I dont know this is just some code i copied a year 1/2 ago and it has work the entire time w/ no problems. I can only assum w/ this connection string that it defaulted to oledb. We decided today to use the oracle oledb provider and it seems to work pretty well. so the new connection string looks like this.strConn = "Provider=OraOLEDB.Oracle;User ID=?;Password=?;Data Source=?"Since putting this into place we have not encountered any of the errors mentioned before on the 'open' or 'execute'. It has been 1 week and no erro

Spent hours trying to resolve it and ended up calling Crystal Support. It's a known issue with CR9 & 10 on IIS 6.0. The fix is to run the web site service in IIS 5.0 isolation mode. Here's how you do that:- Open IIS- Right-click on the 'Web Sites' folder.- Select the 'Service' tab.- Click the 'Run WWW service in IIS 5.0 isolation mode' checkbox.- Restart IIS.This cured the problem for me.Here's a link to the issue in Crystal's KB:http://support.businessobjects.com/library/kbase/articles/c2014894.aspHope this works for you. | Post Points: 5 < Previous Topic | Next Topic > Page 1 of 1 (2 items) | RSS Copyright 1998-2016 vbCity.com LLC
