String url = mysql error codes list "jdbc:mysql://tski106:3306/logaudit?useUnicode=true&characterEncoding=UTF-8"; Connection con = DriverManager.getConnection(url, username, password); It throws SQLException and not able to make connection with mysql Server. SQLSTATE :S1000 Message : Unknown initial character set index "48" received from server.

Initial client character set can be forced via the "characterEncoding" property.
