Hello, I want to create table with 7 fields to contain some stuff for my website. Some of the fields like varchar length (username) are set to VARCHAR and for some reason when I click "save" I get error saying "This is not a number!" I changed all fields from VARCHAR to TINY TEXT and error desapared. Could anyone

explain when should I use VARCHAR and is it safe to replace it with TINY TEXT? Also if you know a reason causing this error could you explain how to fix it? In Mysql BIT field requires a length to be assigned. that task. while creating a table in my database i have got an error "this is not a number". I have search on the web for it and https://alaaattya.wordpress.com/2012/08/21/famous-phpmyadmin-error-this-is-not-a-number/ a few people had the right solution. The solution is to set the length http://dev.mysql.com/doc/en/problems-with-float.html field for nvarchar type and every thing will getting well😉 so don't forget to set the length field to get away from that fool error😀 Share this:TwitterFacebookLike this:Like Loading...
