If the SC is broken you'll get replication errors and access denied in ie. dcdiag logs. If replication is good, then the SC is good. Verify with ie. my domain admin credentials I tried to reset it using nltest and netdom; but I keep getting "No such domain" and "no logon server" errors while executing http://serverfault.com/questions/204765/active-directory-1355-0x54b-error-no-such-domain these commands (nltest /scquery, nltest /screset, netdom reset)! I can't even logon to these two servers using my domain credentials as I get an error "domain is not available". Hence I had to logon to them using local admin credentials and then I executed nltest and netdom command. But commands are failing with error http://www.activedir.org/thread/1355-0x54b-error_no_such_domain/ "no such domain". Below is one such error: INetLogonControl failed: Status = 1355 0x54b ERRORNOSUCHDOMAIN Is there any way to fix it instead of disjoining and rejoining these servers to the domain manually? Regards, Anupam
