Development > Visual C++ Question 0 Sign in to vote BSCMAKE: error BK1506 : cannot open file '.\Release\main.sbr': No such file or directoryI am using visual studio 2008 professional 90 day trial.I am msking a dll from sourceforge src package.I get this error and I read online that it may be fixed by closing the browser and rebuild.linkor "The only way to fix it is to unload and reload the project."linkHowever, since I am a new user to c++ and visual studio. I do not know how to do these things I linked to.I right clicked the project and said rebuild, https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/4k027wt5.aspx but the error was still there.I closed the home page in visual studio and tried to rebuild and the error was still there.I don't know what to do next?To begin the src dll project, I open the src package and use visual studio to open a dsw file that makes the files ready and I just have to press either debug or build. / 5 BSCMAKE: error BK1506 : cannot open file '.\Debug\StdAfx.sbr': No such file or directory Hi, Does any one have any idea on how to solve the following: BSCMAKE: http://computer-programming-forum.com/82-mfc/3ead1c5d715a745f.htm error BK1506 : cannot open file '.\Debug\StdAfx.sbr': No such file or directory Error executing bscmake.exe. I seam to remember that in the past I may have deleted some BSC files but that was http://www.cyberforum.ru/cpp-beginners/thread35829.html a long time ago and would not be stdafx.bsc Today I decided to recreate a class which I have changed many times from CView, CWnd and maybe even CStatic and ended up no such with bunch of functions inappropriate for whatever class ( now aiming for CStatic again ). I renamed the files, before I started VC then deleted them from the file lists in VC but when it came time to create them again it told me the class is in use. I restarted and recreated ( with a typo ), when I realized it I deleted the new no such file files from the lists and then found the class IDs ( because it was created with automation ) and cut out all relating to PartPreview and PartPreviw in the .odl file. When I tried to rebuild I got the error. The only BSC files (2 BSC and 2 with another extension) in my debug directory were for the 2 {*filter*} classes which are now history as well. Any ideas on how to bring my project from the dead? Thanks Sam. Usually, a "Rebuild All" will solve it. Or, try deleting the entire "Debug" subdirectory and then building.
