Leya 2016-07-30 15:11:39 UTC #22 Ok so I've done some searching and found this: My Xorg version is 1.17 whereas my Nvidia is GeForce 3 series which is too old and can only be used on Xorg 1.12. So it's unsupported on 1.17. This is from here (https://wiki.archlinux.fr/NVIDIA) For some reason this detail is not found in the English version. Is it possible that this is the cause of the error? crazyg4merz 2016-07-30 17:15:38 UTC #23 http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/95165/en-usIt's supported until Xorg 1.18. Nvidia legacy driver should be working just fine with Manjaro. Install it using mhwd. It's linux318-extramodules-nvidia340xx for your linux 3.18 kernel. Leya 2016-07-30 20:28:08 UTC #24 Ok. What should be the command? I did this:Sudo mhwd -i linux318-extramodules-nvidia340xx And it said invalid option of install. philm 2016-07-30 21:56:25 UTC #25 Please read the wiki for MHWD.
