Join Date Sep 2014 Beans 62 After clean install of Ubuntu 16.04, VeraCrypt and TrueCrypt are acting weird I've been a long time TrueCrypt user, and I understand that VeraCrypt is the updated version. I clean installed Ubuntu 16.04 this morning, and both of these programs now require that I disable the kernel cryptographic services in order to open my containers. Should I be worried? Do I need to install something else too? If I don't disable the kernel cryptographic services, it gives me an error when I try to open the container.
