You should have line like this: @ QT += network @ "Most good programmers do programming not because they expect to get paid or get adulation by the public, but because it is fun to program." Linu... Reply Quote 0 andre last edited by Note that it is better not to #include the whole module. Just include the classes you actually need, and even then prefer forward declarations in headers and #includes in the sources if possible. It will save you compilation time. You could do this: #include , which should compile. However, it will not link, you need to link to QtNetwork. To achieve this, you should tell QMake that you're using QtNetwork. Add this to your .pro project file: QT += network. This has two effects: first, the compiler will look for include files in the QtNetwork subdirectory too (so you don't need to include , will work just fine). Secondly, the linker will link to QtNetwork too. So everything will work just fine. You can read more about using Qt modules here. share|improve this answer answered Aug 16 '13 at 22:08 Marc Plano-Lesay 4,05442054 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in Sign up using Google Sign up using Facebook Sign up using Email and Password Post as a guest Name Email Post as a guest Name Email d

Also had to install libavcodec-dev $ sudo aptitude install libavcodec-dev libqt4-dev kolen commented Jul 7, 2010 I have qt dev stuff installed, in Arch there is no no such file separate dev packages, regular packages contain headers. /usr/include/Qt exists, qmake, uic etc also. It is strange that CMake says everything is found and creates makefiles, but then build fails. c-holtermann commented Jul 22, 2010 I habe the same problem with OpenSuse. I found that the network include files for qt4 are not in /usr/include/qt4/qtNetwork but directly in /usr/include/qtNetwork. Creating a symbolic link "sudo ln -s /usr/include /usr/include/qt4" seems to work. Ungaminga commented Feb 17, 2012 resolved by adding network to QT+= in my pro. binaryplease commented Nov 7, 2012 Hi, ive got exactly the same problem but i dont understand your solution, Ungaminga. could you explain what you did exactly? That's where the QFtp header seems to be located on my system. Alternatively you could change #include to #include Adv Reply Janu
