Error Createprocess No Such File Or Directory Dev C++
one, only occurring in cc1 instead of cc1plus. The compiler builds fine, but then, when it has to compile libgcc, it segfaults. I tried running the compiler with a trivial C program (int main(){return 0;}). It segfaults. I tried puppet no such file or directory - createprocess to debug cc1 with gdb. The lines causing the crash are in c-common.c: int16_type_node = TREE_TYPE (identifier_global_value (c_get_ident (INT16_TYPE))); The call to identifier_global_value() returns NULL, and the pointer is dereferenced by the macro TREE_TYPE, causing the crash. This means that DJGPP cannot be used as a target with recent versions of gcc. It may be little used nowadays, but, since it is not unsupported, it should work. Personally I would use a different one, but the choice is not mine here. Recently I installed the Windows 8 Professional 64 bit that is available on Dreamspark though my university, so I can start with some metro app development for some contests. Unfortunately, Dev C++ has stopped compiling. It previously worked fine with Windows 7 64 bit. I get an error when no such file compiling that reports back: Compiler: Default compiler Executing gcc.exe... gcc.exe "C:\Users\James\Documents\Homework\TA_CPRE_185\counter.c" -o "C:\Users\James\Documents\Homework\TA_CPRE_185\counter.exe" -I"C:\Dev-Cpp\include" -L"C:\Dev-Cpp\lib" gcc.exe: Internal error: Aborted (program collect2) Please submit a full bug report. I got stuck because of an error with no further information. So I Googled, read the troubleshooting guide (http://arduino.cc/en/Guide/Troubleshooting), searched the forums and read "How to use this forum" (http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=148850.0).I did not find an answer. But I think I found several other topics with the same problem and outward appearance, although there might very well be different causes. The oldest dates from June 3, 2013. The topics are:PhyberLogik: I keep getting "Error compiling." when trying to upload sketches (http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=177654.0)lacrisostomo: "Error Compiling Arduino UNO R3" (http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=174835.0)ArduinoLord32: "Error Compiling." (http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=169998.0)Description of the problemMy minimal example is as follows. In the Arduino 1.5.2 IDE load the "BareMinimum" example from 01.Basics and compile it with the Ctrl+ R keyboard shortcut. The green progress bar then advances halfway, stops and after a second or so the status bar color changes to orange with the message: "Error compiling." The black console window below it remains empty. A picture "Error compiling.jpg" is attached. For me, this happens with any sketch, any target Arduino board and with Arduino software versions 1.0.4, 1.5.1r2, 1.5.2 and the nightly build of July 16, 2013. All of the above 6 topics appear to use MS Windows, and most of them appear to use a 64 bit version.Obviously, compilation of the BareMinimum sketch should not result in an "Error compiling." message. The lack of further inf
