Join Date Nov 2006 Location Lancaster, US Beans 170 DistroUbuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn GRUB: No such disk I'm so ******* pissed off. Alright, so I have a Maxtor OneTouch II xHD, and I decided I'd install Ubuntu 9.10 on it. Alright, cool, it installs no problem, I choose to just erase everything on the xHD for Ubuntu because nothing was there anyway. I reboot, and what do I get? GRUB Loading... error: no such disk grub rescue >_ So I figure maybe, "Oh well I guess the xHD is messed up, lets just boot back into Windows on my internal HD..." so I turn off the xHD, and boot up my Internal HD. SAME MESSAGE. I am completely clueless as to what to do right now. I'm really pissed off that this is happening and I need help FAST. I have no idea what to do. I ha
