Anyone have encounter the same problem? It was trying to resolve the hostname "DFSAPP03" and failing. In my case the problem was fixed by using a different server address. I've left the /etc/samba/smb.conf as default2. Set smbpasswd on my user profile3. testparm -s just displays the config, which is default as per #14. smbclient -L 192.168.0.7/volume1/NetBackup displays the details no such of my NASWhen I atttempt to mount using below command:$ sudo mount -t cifs //192.168.0.7/volume1/NetBackup /mnt/NAS -o user=XXXXXX,password=XXXXXXI get the below error:mount error(6): No such device or addressI have done a seach on this error and seems it could be one of many things.
