I just installled Qt5.0.0 & MS Visual C++ Comilper 10.0 on my compuer (running Win7) I tried to compile and run a few programs from the Qt Creator Examples. They work. Then, I created a very simple project using "Empty Qt project" from Qt Creator. The project was created at the default location "C:\Qt\Qt5.0.0\Tools\QtCreator\bin" I just added one main.cpp source file with the following code: Qt Code: Switch view #include #include int main(int argc, char *argv[]){ QApplication app(argc, argv); QPushButton button("Run"); button.show() return app.exec} #include #include int main(int argc, char *argv[]) { QApplication app(argc, argv); QPushButton button("Run"); button.

I'm new with Qt and folled Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gk3zh5lA4ww Got it worked this way: Instaed of create an Empty Qt Project; create a Qt Gui App and delete the Form etc....now it works. THX Reply Quote 0 steno last edited by With an empty Qt Project, you could have right clicked on the solution and edited the qt project settings by adding the Qt Gui library that way. Reply Quote 0 Croydon last edited by Also, you can simply right click on the project/solution name (in the TreeView) and click in "Run qmake", after doing it, rebuild or run the project. error: C1083: Cannot open include file: 'QtPrintSupport': No such file or directoryReturn to overview November 13, 2013, 13:44by Lucas I followed the tutorial for setting up QCustomPlot, but I am getting this "error: C1083: Cannot open include file: 'QtPrintSupport': No such file or directory" error anyone knows why? November 13, 2013, 14:39by Mike Goza I'm using Qt 5.1.1 and Creator 2.8.1. To get http://www.qcustomplot.com/index.php/support/forum/184 QCustomPlot to work on my machine, I had to mod the qcustomplot.h. I changed "#include http://www.qtforum.org/article/25298/fatal-error-c1083-cannot-open-include-file-qdomdocument-no-such-file-or-directory.html " to "#include " and then in the .pro file I added "QT += printsupport" Doing that seemed to make everything happy. I was mainly getting link errors though, but its worth a shot. Mike November 13, 2013, 16:03by Lucas I tried adding the "QT += printsupport" and the #include but I am still getting the same error, but thanks anyway. no such I'm also using Qt 5.1.1 and Creator 2.8.1. November 13, 2013, 16:32by Mike Goza Bummer. What does Creator do in the autocomplete when you start typing the #include QMake the project. It will sometimes fix strange things in Creator. November 13, 2013, 18:35by Lucas I try the things you said, and now I am getting a "error: C1083: Cannot open include file: 'qcustomplot.h': No such file or directory" error. November 13, 2013, 18:39by Lucas Never mind, it worked, I was getting that mistake because the qcustomplot.h wasnt in the same directory as my project, but its working now. Thank you so much Mike! November 13, 2013, 19:27by DerManu Mike, first of all thanks for helping Lucas out. One question to you: Do you still have to do the modification that you explained I changed "#include " to "#include " with the new QCustomPlot version 1.1.0? That should have fixed that... November 14, 2013, 15:40by Mike Goza I probably have a version from about a month or two back. Maybe I need to update... December 5, 2013, 10:29by johannes Hey, i just downloaded it and i have the same problem, i doesn´t find QtPrintSupport (# include ) any solutions? December 5, 2013, 11:22by DerManu Did you follow the setting up instructions and added printsupport to the QT variable in your .pro file? December 5, 2013, 15:02by johannes well i use visual s
