Dov Isaacs Mar 10, 2008 10:39 PM (in response to (dela_ahmad)) You give us precious little to work with such as what model printer and configuration you have, but without further information, it would appear to be a problem of your printer running out of memory. The printer appears to be a PostScript emulation device (i.e., not Adobe PostScript, but some type of CloneScript) by virtue of what appears to be a PostScript error message very much unlike that which you would get from any Adobe-based product.. Try printing to a real PostScript device and see whether the same error occurs. - Dov Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 2. Re: error: memoryfull & offending command:fill. why? (dela_ahmad) Apr 3, 2008 5:49 PM (in response to (dela_ahmad)) hi, i have tried to redesign, (print as) pdf, changed it to ps (via plug in), and have distilled to pdf again. printer brand: OKI C5400n(PS) configuration is normal config, nothing fancy that i have done with the config. same as before, when i tried to print ps, it came out fine & no problem. as i was printing the distilled pdf, now, i have different error command: error: typecheck offending command: restore stack: -dictionary- (a whole list full of it) what does this mean then? it seems that it's the stage where i

OFFENDING COMMAND: Options Mark as New Bookmark Subscribe Subscribe to RSS Feed Highlight Print Email to a Friend Report Inappropriate Content 08-05-2011 02:16 AM Hi,I'm using a Xerox WorkCentre 7545 with the Postscript driver. Serveral users report https://forums.adobe.com/thread/285771 that they get the message "ERROR: limitcheck OFFENDING COMMAND:" when printig a Word document. The document has 50 pages and after page 10 the printer stops with the error message. I have tried to break up the document in pieces, but after 10 pages the printer stops. It doesn't matter if you print page 1-10 or 11-20 etc.The print spooler is on a Windowws 2003 server. The client is Windows 7 with Office 2007.Any ideas? http://forum.support.xerox.com/t5/Printing/ERROR-limitcheck-OFFENDING-COMMAND/td-p/7530 Solved! Go to Solution. Do you have any idea why I can print the document when this option is disabled? Thanks in advance! I have run the tests as you suggested and it printed your e-mail and two small documents one that was created in .docx and one in .doc However when I tried to print only two pages from a document that was created with an old .doc template and converted to a .docx file it would not print. It would seem that the problem lies in the conversion process. The best solution would be to avoid using old doc. templates. Many thanks for you help, it gave me a route to the solutiondaivdcol Helpful (0) Reply options Link to this post by dwb, dwb Jan 13, 2012 12:55 PM in response to davidcol Level 7
