Hello, My computer recently http://www.vistax64.com/crashes-debugging/296391-error-loading-operating-system.html decided to stop booting normaly and to load a black screen with "error loading operating system". The computer was running fine beforehand but I have a hunch it is something to do with my Motherboard rather then my windows installation. My computer specs are as follows; Operating System- Windows Vista 32bit Motherboard- Asus M4A77TD Pro Processor- AMD Phenom II x4 840 @3.2Ghz Ram- 4 Gb Hard drive- SATA SS Samsung HD103SJ Now i have tried operating system to boot from a copy of vista CD to use the command prompt to fix the MBR but it will no longer boot from the cd. It would at first but because my computer clearly dosent want me to fix it, it has decided to stop booting from the CD. Now when i say it wont boot: it will boot into the loading screen where it says it is loading the files on the cd error loading operating with the loading bar. Once that completes it goes to the microsoft loading screen as if it was starting up and then instead of going to the installation/recovery page it just loads a black screen and stays there. Nothing else will happen. I have absolutly no idea how to get around this so im wondering whether my hard drive has really just died completly or whether my Motherboard is extremly corrupt. And yes the boot priority is set to boot from CD 1st. Your help is really really appreciated! My System Specs You need to have JavaScript enabled so that you can use this ... Meanwhile, let's start with these free, bootable diagnostics: Initial Hardware Diagnostics If you still can't boot from the disk, then try removing both cables from the hard drive and seeing if you can then run the memory diagnostic (this sometimes happens wh
