Operating system call SO ERROR failed (error no.239 )in SM21 Srini asked Jul 11, 2002 | Replies (1) Hi This is the error message in my system log Transaction SM21 which i observed very regularly. This is coming with the user SAPSYS, that too for work processes of type Spool & RD.I doesn't aware of the work process RD. We have 2 application servers. Is this error is because of communication (connection) problems. Can i ignore this error. The following is the detail text of the error message. Interprocess communication (e.g. TCP/IP) connection refused by partner. This usually means that the necessary receiver program is not running. x86_64, Oracle 10.2.0.2, SAP ECC6.0Our SAP central instance is throwing "Operating system call connect failed (error no. 111 )" error messages. However, SQL*Plus connects to database without any problem.Usual "troubleshooting" (rebooting database and central instance servers) was applied, without any success. Is this something related to Oracle or we should investigate on some lower level?AppArmor and firewall are disabled, that we have already checked.Thank you in advance,Vladimir BaracDatabase administrator | Alghanim IndustriesP.O.
