- since I moved I am having Customer Question I have a pacemaster proplus II - since I moved I am having problems with it - we changed the sensor on it, it has power, and starts but stops https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=go6sBN60AVc in less than 30 secs with Err31. On your motor there is a wheel with holes in it. On top of that is the optical sensor. The sensor has to line up perfectly with http://www.justanswer.com/fitness-equipment/3a75g-pacemaster-proplus-ii-moved-having.html the holes for the sensor to read correctly. The sensor counts the holes to know how fast the treadmill is going. Check to make sure the sensor is plugged in to the board and in itself. If the sensor is properly aligned it should work perfectly. Make sure the bracket for the sensor is not bent. That is if you received a good sensor. There is only one other option and that would be if the power supply to the motor were malfunctioning you could receive that same error. You would have to check the power going into the motor and watch it til it cuts out to see if there is a drop in voltage. That is a long shot though. I would think it is in the sensor. You will need to check the speed sensor for proper alignment and function. it should be located near the front pacemaster pro plus roller or mounted on the motor. It should be within a credit cards width of the magnet or toothed wheel. If properly adjusted check with an ammeter to see if it is opening and closing by manually spinning the front roller or motor flywheel. If it isn't replace the sensor. If it is functioning make sure you are getting 5vdc to it across the wires. If you are not replace the upper control board(console). If you are getting the proper voltage then replace the lower control board(motor controller).
