to moderate use. Lately it has been stopping mid stride with an error code "ERR 24". I thought maybe it was underpowered but I plug it into a 20 amp receptacle with nothing else plugged into the circuit and it still happened. Also make sure you are waxing or lubricating the deck as instructed in your manual. Ask Your Own Exercise Equipment Question Customer: replied5 years ago. you gave two possible causes... regarding lubrication, the manual says "The motor and roller bearings are pacemaster pro plus sealed for maintenance free operation and require no lubrication. The deck and tread belt are lubricated at the factory and are also maintenance free. Any attempt to lubricate underneath the running belt will result in damage, especially if silicone or any other lubricant is used." so I'm assuming NO lubrication is required correct? Just to be sure, do you work on Pacemaster units?As for the other cause you suggest, why do you think it's the control board? Couldn't it also be the speed sensor? I'm looking for assistance in determining and confirming the problem so I'm not replacing parts one at a time via trial and error - I can find "replace the board" as a solution by googling this on the web.
