Brad Grochowski posted this on June 23, 2015, 4:15 PM If https://www.paypal-knowledge.com/infocenter/index?page=content&id=FAQ1425&actp=LIST your site is giving someone the following error during a transaction on soapbox: “Payment Error: (15005) - Processor Decline - This transaction cannot be http://support.picnet.net/entries/82963615-What-is-causing-Payment-Error-15005-Processor-Decline-This-transaction-cannot-be-processed- processed.”This is an indication that the transaction has been declined by the bank that issued their card. You may want to recommend that they reach out to their back to ask why the transaction wasn't approved. Note that there isn't anything that your credit card processor, nor we at Soapbox would be able to do to resolve this issue. Topic is closed for comments Support Software by Zendesk

Enigma Member July 2011 in Help edited July 2011 Im getting this error "15005 Processor Decline" It seems to only happen when someone tries using their credit card but not when they pay with paypal. I have a merchant pro account. the site is: paypal error http://claydonfinearts.com/ My site is in wordpress using the using the Foxyshop plug in, the author of the plug in says it must be on the Paypal side.. paypal says nothings wrong... I need to fix this asap... anyone have any thoughts on this? Comments Enigma Member July 2011 I've spoken to Paypal.. they said it was due to a bank 15005 processor decline decline which was what I had read the code to be online... but the strangest thing is... One transaction was declined 6 times.. then worked on the 7th try? Same card, same person, same info? I'm trying to contact the customer to see what that was about.. but I've read about there being security issues that can kick back that error as well on here? Im not a techy by any means, I'm winging it to figure this out.. : ( fc_adam FoxyCart Team July 2011 Banks can decline for a number of reasons, one of which could be insufficient funds - perhaps that was the case here? Definitely let us know what you hear back from the customer. brett FoxyCart Team July 2011 @Enigma, it's also entirely possible that they just got the info wrong the first 6 times. Maybe an incorrect CSC or CC# or expiration date. Then they caught the error and it went through fine. Fwiw, this page may be a huge help in the future: http://wiki.foxycart.com/primer/errors Sign In or Register to comment.
