All went well with testing the WPS paypal error code 10001 payment method. I then created another test account inside of my SandBox (PayPal is truly horrible!) to handle the WPP payment. I copied and pasted the API information from that WPP business test account into the WPP payment

method in our site. I rechecked if curl was installed on the server - it issudo apt-get install php5-curl And also ran theservice php5-fpm restart This resulted in an error being returned - -bash: service: command not found. I went a long way into installing nginx with the above php5-fpm (not a programmer or a webmaster so I´m a bit lost on that - seems to have a load of unmet dependencies though). The payment method this transaction couldn't be completed. please redirect your customer to paypal. appears at the end of the checkout process. I entered the visa card info from the above WPP test account in my sandbox. I emptied the cache a couple times from the /performance page. I ran cron. But every time I try to process the test payment I receive the following error: We encountered an error processing your payment. Please verify your credit card details or try a different card. Its super vague. I saw the same error in a Ubercart / PayPal queue previously and the same was said there. It aint so helpful but can anyone point me in a direction with this? Client wants the WPP option as well as the WPS option. Mucho thanks! (also, how can I test if the php5-fpm is installed and running? Nothing appears on my phpinfo.php file about the php5-fpm service.) I have already posted http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5090570/paypal-api-error-error-processing-payment this on PayPal's developer site (www.x.com) however have not yet had a responce. I have been attempting to create a PayNow button using the BMCreateButton API via NVP. I receive the success message and the button code, however whenever anyone clicks the button they are instantly displaying the message: "Error Processing Payment Your payment can't be processed. Please contact the merchant directly with this code." The code I am using to generate the button is as follows: $sendData = array( "METHOD" => "BMCreateButton", "VERSION" => "65.2", "USER" => "[username]", "PWD" => "[password]", "SIGNATURE" => "[signature]", "BUTTONCODE" => "ENCRYPTED", "BUTTONTYPE" => "PAYMENT", "BUTTONSUBTYPE" => "SERVICES", "BUTTONCOUNTRY" => "GB", "BUTTONIMAGE" => "reg", "L_BUTTONVAR1" => "item_number=$userID", "L_BUTTONVAR2" => "item_name=$invoiceID", "L_BUTTONVAR3" => "subtotal=$invoiceTotal", "L_BUTTONVAR4" => "currency_code=GBP", "L_BUTTONVAR5" => "no_shipping=1", "L_BUTTONVAR6" => "no_note=1", "L_BUTTONVAR7" => "notify_url=[full url to ipn]", "L_BUTTONVAR8" => "cancel_return=[full url to cancel]", "L_BUTTONVAR9" => "return=[full url to return]" ); $curl = curl_init(); curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_RETURNTRANSFER, true); curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER, false); curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_URL, 'https://api-3

Your credit card was not charged. Please try again.". It seems all is configured correctly with the SSL, and I have all the API details correct. Any tips on what might be holding things up? Cheers! Posted 4 years ago on Saturday August 4, 2012 | Permalink Chris Hajer Administrator Are you using the sandbox or the production account? And can you post a screenshot of the error you're seeing? Can we test it and see the error for ourselves? Thanks. Posted 4 years ago on Saturday August 4, 2012 | Permalink jfulbrook Member Hey Chris, I'm using the Production account at the moment as I'm also in control of the connected Paypal account. If it switch it to Sandbox in Gforms, will in need to change something in the Paypal account for it to work also? So, here is a link to the problem page: https://jf85.co.uk/wfccn/donate. Like I said before, the error says "There was an error processing your request. Your credit card was not charged. Please try again." yet the CC is 100% functional. I have set-up Ajax validation, yet I get the the same error without Ajax too. Thanks so much for you help. Posted 4 years ago on Sunday August 5, 2012 | Permalink Chris Hajer Administrator To use the sandbox, you will have an account and a user from PayPal, and the account email address will be the one configured in Gravity Forms, in addition to checking the box. Did you test this at all in the sandbox before, or did this form ever work? If you submit the form from the form preview, will it work correctly without this error? Posted 4 years ago on Monday August 6, 2012 | Permalink jfulbrook Member Hi Chris I have tried in the form preview in WP, and get the same identical error. There seems no reason for this - I have since tried
