It says it may be busy or has stopped responding and gives options e.g. stop script, https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1066508 continue, debug script and also a box to not ask me again. I have tried all these options and it eventually frees up my ability to use my email account. What I would like to know is how I can stop the unresponsive script occurring at all in the first place!!! I have tried going to the debug script option and it displays a highlighted line. I think perhaps I should be doing something at http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=2021497 that stage but cannot see how to interact with it, i.e. is it up to me then to debug this highlighted line? If so, how? amyawake View Public Profile Find More Posts by amyawake Please sign in or register to remove this advertisement. 31-10-2014, 14:56 #2 psionic Forum Member Join Date: May 2002 Location: Crystal Palace TX Posts: 19,664 Have you tried with a different web browser eg Google Chrome? Or even possibly with an Adblock extension? psionic View Public Profile Find More Posts by psionic 31-10-2014, 20:11 #3 amyawake Forum Member Join Date: Jun 2010 Posts: 4,877 Quote: Originally Posted by psionic Have you tried with a different web browser eg Google Chrome? No, not tried a different browser but that doesn't really appeal i.e. flitting between browsers a lot just to read emails (I don't have a mobile phone). I would like to know how to stop the unresponsive script from happening. I think the clue may be via the "debug script" link but, when it goes to it and highlights a line....nothing else seems to happen so I close that section down. Should I wait a longer time for it to clear? (I wait about 2 mins).
3, 2004. Lawrence S Schenck Guest Greetings, What would cause an Internet Explorer Script Error when selecting Outlook's Hotmail inbox? The error is identified as line 15, char 1, code 0 - permission denied. Selecting either Yes or No to answer the continue running scripts question results http://www.pcreview.co.uk/threads/internet-explorer-script-error-in-outlooks-hotmail-account.837054/ in a blank field. Your suggestions would be appreciated. LarryS Lawrence S Schenck, Sep 3, 2004 #1 Advertisements Lawrence S Schenck Guest Well, revising the list of started XP services seems to have resolved the problem. Fingers crossed, all will now continue to operate as they should.
