If I upgrade to IE10 and press print nothing happens, no print or error message. It may be unrelated but the only change I can think of that happened around a similar time was a Java update that I rolled out. Just as an overview here is a number of things I have tried with no luck... 1:Your video card or video driver is outdated or corrupt. If you're running 64, see if you're running the 'normal' IE8 or the 64-bit IE8. This may fix it. If that doesn't, you may have some corrupted dll files that you can fix by running an elevated command prompt then typing: sfc /scannow 1 Sonora OP JaredV Mar 15, 2013 at 4:33 UTC I'm running 32-bit. I ran the "sfc /scannow" command but that did not work. 0 Sonora OP Best Answer JA2112 Mar 15, 2013 at 4:35 UTC Though I haven't had a chance to use it yet, I've heard good things about "Complete Internet Repair", with regards to script errors---might be worth a try. http://download.cnet.com/Complete-Internet-Repair/3000-2094_4-75332305.html 0 Chipotle OP RedR0ze Mar 15, 2013 at 4:35 UTC Try running the 64-bit IE8 then try printing. A shame, because I really like the look of IE 9, and especially the feature where you can separate tabs to view side by side on the screen. But I absolutely could not print any page at all from the web. Print preview was fine, printer software comes up, wait 10 seconds, script error then Script Error, Error 2107. I have seen many, many posts about this same error, but the suggested fixes never work and I tried every single one of them. Is this a known error with IE 9, or do we need to wait for new drivers? I am using: Win 7 32 bit HP Officejet 6500n wireless all in one printer Thanks! tgrover54, May 17, 2011 #1 Sponsor Phantom010 Trusted Advisor Joined: Mar 9, 2009 Messages: 34,572 Open IE. Click Tools > Internet Options > Advanced. error when printing Click to select the Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer) and Disable script debugging (Other) check boxes, and then click to clear the Display a notification about every script error check box. By default, IE has the opposite settings for script debugging. Upgrading to IE9 may be resetting them to default. The box that pops up says, An Error Has Occurred in the Script on this Page. Sure would like to be able to use this. tgrover54, May 17, 2011 #4 tgrover54 Thread Starter Joined: Jul 28, 2010 Messages: 158 Well, I have tried everything. My Trend Titanium is set to not interfere with scripts. I put back notify about script errors, and the error is a print.stopdoc(). I cannot find anywhere on the web that gives instructions about how to fix this and I am not familiar with this area. I see nothing about this in the HP support area. I guess I just have to go back to IE 8, this just won't work on my computer. tgrover54, May 17, 2011 #5 T
