Hi https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2652062 all, I've tried a number of hotfixes and suggestions to no avail. Your insight would be greatly appreciated! System: Windows Server 2008 R2, up to date, including IE 9 Error: An error has occurred in the script on this page. Line 2061. Char 1. URL res://ieframe.dll/preview.js Issue appears within a specific application that prints via Internet Explorer. Not sure how to tell whether it is using 32 or 64 bit IE. Both the application and the Microsoft HTML Help Control Version 6.1 system it leverages generate the error after you have selected a printer and click the actual print button. Using Process Monitor, the only file system activity that did not match SUCCESS were the following, in the order events occurred: Operation: IRP_MJ_CREATE Path C:\application\PPS.dll.config Result NAME NOT FOUND Detail Desired Access: Generic Read Same for C:\application\CPPXlate.dll.config Lastly, same for C:\application\ieframe.dll:Zone.Identifier I assume the last item would be the issue but not sure. Creating empty config files per above remove those errors but the issue persists. Any tips? I'm not having much luck monkeying with various Internet Options (e.g. Protected mode enabled across all

I keep getting this script error: Line: 1517 Char: 1 Error: Invalid Argument Code: 0 URL: res//ieframe.dll/preview.js If I click yes or no the error just closes out. I have tried resetting all IE settings, disabling all add-ons, uninstalling flash player and java, different printers, installing IE9, but nothing seems to work. When I uncheck the disable script debugging(Internet Explorer) in advanced settings and I try to print, the JScript Debugger finds this error: oRule.style.top = upTop + "in"; Any help would be appreciated. If you're running 64, see if you're running the 'normal' IE8 or the 64-bit IE8. This may fix it. If that doesn't, you may have some corrupted dll files that you can fix by running an elevated command prompt then typing: sfc /scannow 1 Sonora OP JaredV Mar 15, 2013 at 4:33 UTC I'm running 32-bit. I ran the "sfc /scannow" command but that did not work. 0 Sonora OP Best Answer JA2112 Mar 15, 2013 at 4:35 UTC Though I haven't had a chance to use it yet, I've heard good things about "Complete Internet Repair", with regards to script errors---might be worth a try. http://download.cnet.com/Complete-Internet-Repair/3000-2094_4-75332305.html 0 Chipotle OP RedR0ze Mar 15, 2013 at 4:35 UTC Try running the 64-bit IE8 then try printing. Did the sfc /scannow prompt actually run, though? 0 Sonora OP JaredV Mar 15, 2013 at 4:41 UTC Yes, the sfc \sannow completed but did not fix the problem. 0 Jalapeno OP Tantely Mar 15, 2013 at 4:57 UTC This is very new to me. I had this issue with IE9 and outlook emails. My users cannot print emails if IE9 is installed so our workaround was to downgrade to IE8. We suspected some incompatibili
