Think it's to do with opening devices and printers and it not seeing any but not having any luck 0 Jalapeno OP paul6004 Oct 16, 2013 at 2:52 UTC Try resetting all IE settings back to factory by going to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced and reset advanced settings and then click the reset button at the bottom. Then update java to the latest version (7 update 45 I think) and make sure the java addon is enabled within IE. If it still doesn't work after that, try adding that site to the compatibility view list within IE10 0 Poblano OP VeriLan Oct 16, 2013 at 2:54 UTC Uninstalled and reinstalled IE - it's not printing from any page at all. I've tried with and without add ons. I've reset IE a few times. Thank you. 0 Jalapeno OP paul6004 Oct 16, 2013 at 2:56 UTC So you cannot print any web page from within IE 10? 0 Jalapeno OP paul6004

A shame, because I really like the http://www.pcworld.com/article/208281/Solve_Internet_Explorer_Script_Errors.html look of IE 9, and especially the feature where you can separate tabs to view side by side on the screen. But I absolutely could not print any page at all from the web. Print preview was fine, printer software comes up, wait script error 10 seconds, then Script Error, Error 2107. I have seen many, many posts about this same error, but the suggested fixes never work and I tried every single one of them. Is this a known error with IE 9, or do we need to wait for new drivers? I am using: Win 7 32 bit HP Officejet 6500n wireless all in one printer Thanks! tgrover54, May 17, 2011 #1 Sponsor Phantom010 Trusted Advisor Joined: Mar 9, 2009 Messages: 34,572 Open IE. Click Tools > Internet Options error when printing > Advanced. Click to select the Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer) and Disable script debugging (Other) check boxes, and then click to clear the Display a notification about every script error check box. By default, IE has the opposite settings for script debugging. Upgrading to IE9 may be resetting them to default. I'll let you know! tgrover54, May 17, 2011 #3 tgrover54 Thread Starter Joined: Jul 28, 2010 Messages: 158 Nope. Too bad, because I really like IE 9. The box that pops up says, An Error Has Occurred in the Script on this Page. Line: 2107 Char: 1 Error: There is no connection for this connection ID Code: 0 res://ieframe.dll/preview.js Any other ideas? Sure would like to be able to use this. tgrover54, May 17, 2011 #4 tgrover54 Thread Starter Joined: Jul 28, 2010 Messages: 158 Well, I have tried everything. My Trend Titanium is set to not interfere with scripts. I put back notify about script errors, and the error is a print.stopdoc(). I cannot find anywhere on the web that gives instructions about how to fix this and I am not familiar with this area. I see nothing about this in the HP support area. I guess I just have to go back to IE 8, this just won't work on my computer. tgrover54, May

And to further confound the matter, Charles has configured Google Chrome as his default browser--so why is he seeing Internet Explorer errors?I won't spend a lot of time on the "why"--let's just chalk it up to the joy that is Windows. Weird, inexplicable, annoying things like these just happen sometimes. As for fixing the problem, that may be easier than you think. You didn't tell me what version of Windows or IE you're using (always include that kind of information, people!), but I can deduce from the screenshots that it's IE7 or IE8 on Windows XP. So here's what you need to do:1. Start Internet Explorer.2. Click Tools, Internet Options.3. Click the Advanced tab, then scroll down to the Browsing section. 4. Check the boxes next to Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer) and Disable script debugging (Other).5. Clear the checkbox next to Display a notification about every script error.6. Click OK, then reboot. Those startup script errors should pester you no more.
