ebbrat 2 years ago avwood Posted 1/1/14, 7:20 PM I am so fed up with the error script errors message that adobe flash plugin has crashed. You have had two years to fix this problem and all your suggested solutions do not work. I script error windows 10 cannot see any alternative but to go back to Internet Explorer. It is so frustrating when I am checking my emails and click on a link to get the same message over and over again. Why is it that this problem http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows8_1-update/adobe-flash-player-script-error/d1cfb081-2df6-4439-bfa6-ac395bae0227 only happens with Firefox? It does not happen with Internet Explorer and it does not happen with Google Chrome. Otherwise Mozilla Firefox is great. I am so fed up with the error message that adobe flash plugin has crashed. Chosen solution This from Halofromsue copied here: Okay like I said in my last post, Yesterday I disabled Shockwave in Plugins. However, as you all know, you need shockwave and flash for most things....so I went back and set it to say "ASK TO ACTIVATE" so when a web page loads and needs it, it will ask me and then I'll either say "yes" or "no" and that seems to be working. So far, after three hours it hasn't crashed and shockwave/flash all work fine when it needs it. From me: It works! - ActionScript Error 12 Aug 2015 #1 Juliet68 View Profile View Forum Posts Member Posts : 135 Windows 8.1 HELP NEEDED RE Adobe Flash Player - ActionScript Error Popup occurred after installing recent updates and restarting computer. Security error #2148: SWF file. I don't know what to do. The pop-up keeps appearing and have no idea what I'm suppose to do. Could this have been caused by the IE Flash Player for Windows 8.1 for 64-based Systems KB3087916 that was installed today? The popup has a "dismiss...." or something to that effect, option as well. Go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features\Installed Updates and click on kb3087916 and then click uninstall. Some people would say you need to boot windows in safe mode to do this. I would recommend you do this if it makes you feel safer, but this is the problem update - I haven't had the error since. Windows will keep trying to install this update until hell freezes over, so go into control panel/windows update and select the "Download updates but let me choose" option. Windows will not then automatically install updates that cause problems should then give you the option of unchecking the problem one. Regards, Shadow.
