I did the usual and booted the computer into Safe Mode while running MalwareBytes. After cleaning up the malware, there was still a small, but still irritated annoyance. Everytime I google something, I will click on the link, only to be redirected to another site, somewhat unrelated to the topic that I was searching for. The link in the URL window will change to something like 'tgi.us' or 'thk.us' or 'losangeles.ca' before redirecting me. Another, more thorough scan from MalwareBytes revealed 3 registry items infected. I would post the log, but something in your forum rules say that I should not post any logs until told to do so.
