Technical details about this Microsoft Fix it solution Name: Microsoft an error has occurred in the script on this page gom player Fix it 50043 Old Name: Disable Internet Explorer Script Debugging Version 1.1.1 Additional Information: Localized in 23 languages We have re-released this Fix script error message won't go away it based on your feedback. We now require Internet Explorer to be closed before processing the Fix it and we made a few user interface updates. We had reports of users who ran the Fix it and continued to have runtime errors. This happened because the settings were not being read by Internet Explorer until it was restarted. We discussed (very briefly) restarting Internet Explorer automatically after the Fix it was processed. However, we all unanimously agreed that restarting Internet Explorer without you expecting it was https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/fixit4me/2008/12/05/disable-internet-explorer-script-debugging-fix-it-live/ a bad user experience. Keep an eye out for more Fix it articles in the near future.
