If this is the situation, the issue is most likely caused outlook 2010 script error by the followings: 1. Outlook Today home page is corrupted. 2. Outlwvw.dll file is missing or damaged. You can try the methods below to see if the problem can be resolved. Method 1: Restore Outlook Today =========== 1. Start Outlook and right click Outlook Today then click Properties. 2. Click the Home Page tab. 3. Click Restore Defaults, and then click OK. If the problem persists, let’s go to next method. Method 2: Turn off Outlook Today and rename Outlwvw.dll ======================= Step 1: Turn off Outlook Today ----------------------------- 1. Click Start, in the Search box, type regedit and press Enter. 2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Outlook\Today 3. Right click on Today, point to New and click DWORD value. 4. Type Disable and press enter. 5. Right click Disable and click Modify. 6. In the Value Data box, type 1 and then click OK. 7. Error, NOT when I launch IE, but when I access the "Outlook Today" page in Outlook. If it makes a difference, the full message script error 278 outlook 2016 is: "An error has occurred in the script on this page.
