And with the recent purchase of the star wars franchise by Walt Disney, it's very possible we will see a new Star Wars movie in the not too distant future (or should I say in a galaxy not too far away?). So I'm actually looking forward to the possibility of another star wars sequel and that would be lots of fun! As for the script errors? Unfortunately, I don't think there is a solution. You can check + ensure that the options in Internet explorer (advanced) are set to ensure that script errors and script debugging is disabled. However, THESE SETTINGS DO NOT carry over from Internet explorer into the web control on an access form. And in fact you might even be using Firefox browser or something else. The web control in Accesshas a relative high degree of independence from your actual browser setting or even what Browser you're currently using. (and in most cases this is a good thing!). This is a native control to Access. If you're receiving the script errors without the user doin

What causes this error when a button is clicked: "Error: 'top.pageFrame.document' is null suppress script errors or not an object"The button click works correctly when the page is displayed in Internet Explorer. Any comments, suggestions, etc. would be appreciated. Monday, April 06, 2009 3:50 PM Reply | Quote Answers 0 Sign in to vote FYI, for anyone following the thread.I got around the problem by directly posting values to variables on the page. So instead of: anHtmlElement_x.SetAttribute("VALUE",123); //Put some new values in Textboxes on the form anHtmlElement_y.SetAttribute("VALUE",456.789); // " " " anHtmlElement_apply.InvokeMember("onClick"); //click the form's "Apply new values" button (fails with script error) I post the new data like so: string theURI = "http://www.whateverpage.com"; string theFrame = ""; System.Text.ASCIIEncoding anEncoder = new ASCIIEncoding(); byte[] HTTPPostData = anEncoder.GetBytes("X=123&Y=456.789"); string additionalHeaders = "Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded\n\r"; webBrowser.Navigate(theURI, theFrame, HTTPPostData, additionalHeaders); In this case it works. (I would still like to know how to make WebBrowser handle the script the same as Internet Explorer though.) Edited by GaryHibb Tuesday, April 07, 20

The WebSite screen is called by the Open() function in the button. The WebSite screen has a Microsoft Web Browser ActiveX Control embedded on it pointing to the InduSoft web site when the screen opens. The web page appears to open properly, but a popup stating that there is a Script Error with the message “Object doesn’t support this property or method” similar to the one below, shows up in the middle of the screen (Figure 1). You may have even noticed this Error Popup in your own application while using the Microsoft Web Browser ActiveX Control. Opening the same URL in an Internet Exp
