I had this issue with IE9 and outlook emails. My users cannot print emails if IE9 is installed so our workaround was to downgrade to IE8. We suspected some incompatibility with some of our software as we just recently started deploying win7 and new Microsoft Office tools. And this doesn't matter if it's win7 x64 or x86.
