Posted by Microsoft on 11/22/2013 at 2:43 PM Hello Lmckenney,Thank you for your feedback. This turns out to be the same issue as Connect Feedback http://connect.microsoft.com/IE/feedback/details/773626/javascript-error-in-res-ieframe-dll-preview-js-on-print-preview. Please follow the progress of this bug there. Also thank you for updating us about the default printer not being set we have added that to our investigation notes. It is strange that the default printer was not set after the upgrade we will look for other reports of the same issue. Thank you.Best regards,The Internet Explorer Team Sign in to post a workaround. Per follow-up, the troubleshooting steps hereand here have been implemented without resolving the issue. Thank you! Hi all, I've tried a https://connect.microsoft.com/IE/feedback/details/806193/ie-11-print-and-print-preview-script-error-updated number of hotfixes and suggestions to no avail. Your insight would be greatly appreciated! System: Windows Server 2008 R2, up to date, including IE 9 Error: An error has occurred in the script on this page. Line 2061. Char 1. The system cannot find the file specified. Not sure how to tell whether it is using 32 or 64 bit IE. Both the application and the Microsoft HTML Help Control Version 6.1 system it leverages generate the error after you have selected a printer and click the actual print button. Using Process Monitor, the only file system activity that did not match SUCCESS were the following, in the order events occurred: Operation: IRP_MJ_CREATE Path C:\application\PPS.dll.config Result NAME NOT FOUND Detail Desired Access: Generic Read Same for C:\application\CPPXlate.dll.config Lastly, same for C:\application\ieframe.dll:Zone.Identifier I assume the last item would be the issue but not sure. Creating empty config files per above remove those errors but the issue persists. Any tips? I'm not having much luck monkeying with various Internet Options (e.g. Protected mode enabled across all zones, disabled across all zones, lowering security across all zones, etc). Thank you for you

Does it print fine from applications other than the ones mentioned above? 2. What is the exact model number of the printer? I'd have you follow these methods and check if they help. Method 1: Disable your antivirus/firewall. If printing works in this state it could be possible thatthe Anti-virus/firewall has Script Blocking option. Depending on the software you will have to configure certain settings to allow printing from Internet Explorer. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-off http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Disable-antivirus-software Note: Running the computer without firewall or the anti-virus software is a potential threat to the computer; make sure to enable the security software after completing the troubleshooting steps and after identifying the issue. Method 2: Follow the steps from the below article and check if it helps. You cannot print or print preview Web pages in Internet Explorer on Windows Vista or on Windows 7 Method 3: Run Internet Explorer as administrator and see if printing works. a. Go to Start and type Internet Explorer. b. Right-Click on Internet Explorer and se
