message: Internet Explorer Script Error: An error has occurred in the script on this page. By default, QuickBooks Desktop uses Internet Explorer to display all web-based pages. Script errors most often are caused by settings https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/kb/quickbooks-technical-support-script-errors-quickbooks-web-pages/SLN63238:INQUIRA.modal within the browser. How to fix it Intuit recommends more than one solution for this problem. The first solution may solve your problem, or you may need to try all of them to resolve the issue. For best results, perform the solutions in the order shown. Method 1: Disable script debugging To turn off notification about every script error in Internet Explorer 7, Internet Explorer 8, or script error Internet Explorer 9 Open Internet Explorer. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options. Note: If the Tools menu is not visable, press the Alt key. This will display the hidden menus. Click the Advanced tab. Under the Browsing section, clear the Display a notification about every script error box. Click OK. To turn off the Scripting Debugger in Internet Explorer 6: From the Tools menu, select Internet Options. Click the Advanced tab. Check the quickbooks script error Disable script debugging box. Click OK. If these features are blocked on your computer, this may disrupt the display of the webpage. You can reset your Internet Explorer security settings to make sure these features are not blocked. To reset your Internet Explorer security settings: Open Internet Explorer. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options. Note: If the Tools menu is not visable, press the Alt key. This will display the hidden menus. From within the Internet Options dialog box, click the Security tab. Click Default Level. Click OK. IMPORTANT: ActiveX controls and Java programs are turned off in the High security level in Internet Explorer. Try to open a webpage on which you previously received a scripting error. If you do not receive the error, the problem is resolved. Method 3: Remove all temporary Internet files Every time that you open a browser to view a webpage, your computer stores a local copy of that webpage in a temporary file. If the size of the temporary Internet files folder becomes too large, some display problems may occur when you open webpages. P
