my buddies are on, i can see when they go from idle to active, they can send me messages and i will recieve them, but i CANNOT send them messages. I deleted the account and set it up again and it worked just fine for about 5 minutes and then went back to the same error message - "There was an error with me.com. The message "****” could not aol mail service error be delivered. An AIM service error occurred." I am using my mobileme account to use iChat and I was trying to speak to my wife who uses Google Talk. This has worked flawlessly for the past few months and then this morning all of a sudden i'm getting this. Any help at all would be GREATLY appreciated. iChat, and all it takes to get the connection is to turn it off. Go to iChat > Preferences aol mail gah service error > Accounts, click on your account, then click on the Server Settings tab. You must be offline to make changes here. If you have Use SSL checked, uncheck it, then connect. Since AIM introduced the option (Or rather it was added to the AIM side of iChat) the SSL servers AIM have had do not seem to maintain the same connection status as the regular AIM servers (i.e Drop outs are more frequent). One "Fix" is to turn SSL Off. The other is to Log the Account/Screen Name off the Aim servers Fully (iChat Preferences Untick "Use this Account") then Log back In again. Variants such as Logging in without SSL and then Logging Out and turning SSL On again can help when a Connection
