It builds fine and runs as expected, until a connection is attempted. I've got it connected with USB and I've used ADB to socket error 10061 connection refused windows 7 turn on port forwarding. I've written test apps in C# (which I'm more comfortable with than Java) and I keep getting error 10061: No connection could be made because the target computer actively refused it. This usually results from trying to connect to a service that is inactive on the foreign host—that is, one with no server application running. When I use SocketTest, I get the following (rather cryptic) message: Connection error: connect I've tried disabling my firewall, but this doesn't help. I've http://www.fjsoft.at/forum/viewtopic.php?p=65273&sid=f9b03aa4fe4d52a64a21ab90315546b4 install HTC's Synch program (latest version from their site) installed the ADB drivers, etc. I'm connecting with a USB cable. I select "Charge only" from the phone's connection list, make sure the client has launched on the phone and PC (MyPhoneExplorer) etc and USB debugging is enabled - in other words, I've followed all the correct steps. Also following these steps I have it working fine socket error on my main computer. But, following these same steps on another PC (Which I should mention is running Windows Vista, rather than XP on the working one), I get this error when I try and connect using MyPhoneExplorer: Connection to phone could not be established SocketError: 10061 - Connection is forcefully rejected Any ideas? I had a very similar - if not exactly the same - error with my Wildfire today. The problem I found was simple - I had forgotten to enable WiFi on my phone! So rather than being a "connection rejected" it was in fact no connection at all. Once I enabled WiFi I connected perfectly. I understand you are trying to connect via USB cable, but could the fix be similar to mine? RadiomanTE39 Gast Verfasst am: Mi Jul 20, 2011 22:12 Hi there, I
