Incoming POP 3 server: mail.comcast.net incoming messages are received but outgoing I get the following error message:The connection socket error 10060 connection timed out windows 7 to the server has failed.Subject 'test' Server: '587'Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0EProtocol: SMTP Port: 587Secure(SSL): Yes SocketError: 10051Can you assist? It IS needed tho, if you use PORT 465 for SMTP.CC Need Email Help? Please post the following information in your post.Do you use XfinityConnect? The Full or Lite version?Do you use an email client? Which one? (Eg; Windows Live mail, Outlook, a smartphone etc.)Which browser/version do you use? And- have you cleared your browser cache?Which operating system? I have spoken with my ISP and they have determined it is not them, I have removed my Norton Internet Security and the problem remains and it is now recommended that it is a Microsoft problem.
