When I try to create a new page or click on syntax error in date in query expression access 2007 "recent changes" I get the following error: Database error A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software. The https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Topic:Sshx994njzy3rs3l last attempted database query was: (SQL query hidden) from within function "IndexPager::reallyDoQuery (LogPager)". MySQL returned error "1146: Table 'lyndi1_wikidb.mw_tag_summary' doesn't exist (localhost)". I'm a relative newbie. What does this mean? What steps have you taken to debug this error? Have you been able to figure out which statement is raising the error? Here are the Microsoft docs on the DROP and CREATE statements. –destination-data May 4 at 13:08 Yes, I run the query in MS Access , n it highlights "IF EXISTS", "AUTO_INCREMENT" and "INDEX", –Fadia Jabeen May 5 at 4:26 Microsoft office access version is 2007, I've also tried" drop table if exists " separately, but it always gives syntax error at IF EXISTS –Fadia Jabeen May 5 at 4:44 I only want to make sure table doesn't get created twice. No drop is required. This above query is of MySQL syntax. and I need MS-Access syntax query of following requirement. "Only create table if its not already created" Thank you –Fadia Jabeen May 5 at 4:46 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 1 down vote You can't put an IF state
