(see #111 or fada177) But right now the syntax error live version is broken. Try this: {'foo':'bar'} Curiously, unquoted strings are still supported. Try this string: {'foo': False} It is an invalid JSON. Upon pressing the format button, or the "copy to the right panel" button, I get the following error: Error: Parse error on line 1: {'foo': False} -^ Expecting 'STRING', '}', got 'undefined' It looks like the error is in the single-quotes, but in fact the error is the invalid False piece of text after the colon. What need to be changed is that first the editor tries to sanitize the text input (i.e. replace single quotes with double quotes etc), and after that tries to parse it as JSON, which may throw an error. josdejong added a commit that closed this issue Jan 25, 2015 josdejong
