Here is my full error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in C:\xampp\htdocs\GigaLoad.com\register.php on line 102 But I've been looking a that line for hours. I will give you the entire code cause my newbie brain cant find the error: $query = mysql_query("SELECT * FROM users php unexpected t_variable expecting t_function WHERE username='$username'") Hope you can help if you need more info just let me know. Everything looks correct and I've compared it to other scripts with similar setup. I am new to PHP and I would greatly appreciate some assistance on this error. When your script has nothing to do with Drupal, then I suggest you look for another forum. One tip when posting: include the part of the code that generates the error. Can you provide the full error message? The installation has changed quite a bit between major versions. We need to know some more details of the environment this error is occurring under, ie PHP, drupal and devel versions, as well as whether FirePHP is installed or not, and if so which version.
