The File Is Possibly Corrupt Checksum Windows Vista
USB Keyboard and Mouse Here's what happened: I was runing RAID 0 with the two identical solid state drives wich contained the system files. I was using the older Hard disk for data. My system was runnung great! Untill........... I installed a new keyboard - a Logitech G510 After the installation of the new keyboard the wake from sleep functionality was not working right - the keyboard would no longer wake the computer. After tweaking settings in Windows 7 I the file is possible corrupt. the file header checksum does not match the computed checksum still had no results. So I moved on to the bios settings. I changed on of the settings related to the wake from S3 and rebooted. That is when the following error occured. Heres the problem, when I boot the system, it auto detects everthing fine, and then hangs at CMOS checksum bad press f1 for setup or f2 to load default value. Everytime I change the BIOS it keeps reverting back to this error. When I change the Boot order to CD first, I get the same error. I cannot get into the recovery or install program, just the BIOS. I have tried installing a new battery - reseting the BIOS via Jumper - Disconecting everything but one SSD and a CD drive. Still cant boot from CD and bios keeps reverting back to factory settings (my changes will not save, only the clock settings.) Any Ideas whats going on here? Thanks Reports: · Posted 4 years ago Top G41M Posts: 902 This post has been reported. Make sure your the overclock switch in the motherboard is set to default. Have you tried using a different keyboard (not the Logitech G510)? Reports: · Posted 4 years ago Top RocketSurgeon Posts: 7 This post has been reported. Dammm! I reset the O.C. Switch to default, and it fired right up! Thanks for your help. Reports: · Posted 4 years ago Top Topic Closed T

Download it here : http://www.nullriver.com/downloads/Install-winMd5Sum.exe Open the downloaded ISO using that utility and it will calculate the MD5. Enter the quoted MD5 there http://www.w7forums.com/threads/checksum-error-when-attempting-to-boot-from-dvd.211/ to check if it's same with the ISO. It might take some time and the program will be unresponsive for that period. Don't panic and close the app, it's usual. debsuvra, Jan 23, 2009 #2 Advertisements caffine Joined: Jan 23, 2009 Messages: 7 Likes Received: 0 when i got the error message, it never gave me a checksum value to check it against. caffine, Jan 23, 2009 #3 Ian Administrator Joined: Oct 17, 2008 Messages: 3,426 Likes Received: 624 Re-downloading the ISO should fix the problem, you can check the MD5 checksum using the info debsuvra posted above Ian, Jan 23, 2009 #4 caffine Joined: Jan 23, 2009 Messages: 7 Likes Received: 0 ok, if i run the checker program on the iso file, I get one checksum (f99335d72898488c94b938da211fd79c) but have nothing to compare it to. I redownloaded the ISO file and still have the same problem. I even burned the disc at 8x instead of 16x. nothing works. caffine, Jan 23, 2009 #5 debsuvra Joined: Jan 18, 2009 Messages: 42 Likes Received: 4 ca
