If you leave it run all of the time please shut down normally and wait 5 minutes and reboot and see if you get the same error. If you do shut it down reboot any way. I've tried PDF995, AcroPlot Pro, and OceClient. This most recent error message happened when I tried to install a program that my reprographic company gave to me on a disk. I copied it to my desktop since I can't install it from the CD. The desktop disappearing issues has been happening for a while.
