Prior http://stackoverflow.com/questions/21747391/how-to-resolve-too-many-connection-in-filezilla-with-out-setting-up-site-manager to that no matter what settings I selected I would get a time out error. To avoid this problem you need to change the Filezilla settings. Follow this steps: Open FileZilla. Access the Site Manager. Click on Transfer Settings tab Check the box for Limit number of simultaneous connections, and set the Maximum number of connections to 10 or more. Click the OK button. Now when you are using FileZilla, it will not allow you to go over your limitation of 8 simultaneous FTP connections. you can also check this link for solution click here share|improve this answer answered May 23 at 8:22 R.M. 212 This solved the problem. –Fahad Uddin Sep 28 at 13:40

I have forwarded routers port 21 to my local server, where I have installed FileZilla FTP server. It works fine in local environment, but when I try too many connections to access it with my public IP it returns error: 421 Login incorrect. It`s not showing the username/password popup, but directly prompts the error message. Note: I can access my router with my public IP. I also have double checked whether my port is forwarded or not with this link. What should I do next? port-forwarding filezilla ftp share|improve this question asked Jul 27 '12 at 8:24 user144565 I don't know if it is your problem, but you will also need to forward TCP port 20 ("ftp-data"). –Michael Kjörling Jul 27 '12 at 9:51 Thanks for the comment.
