1 posts Hello,i have a serious problem.I live in Germany and i've bought the german Version of "Neverwinter Nights: The Collection".I've put the DVD into my drive and wanted to install ist.I've only please wait while windows configures microsoft visual studio 2013 wanted to install Neverwinter Nights 1 and its Expansions, so I took out the cross in the other field.Then I selected another install path. After all I wanted to press "Next".But then I got an error message with the error code 2711.Now to my questions:1. What is the problem?2. (I am from Switzerland) Though it does install, if you choose both neverwinter nights 1 and 2 so just install the whole thing and then deinstall the neverwinter nights 2 it's tedious, yes, but it's the only thing I could come with... Application might be corrupted. Improper uninstallation of Dotnet framework, your registry is not clean and might be corrupted. Clean the temp and %temp% folder. For Windows Vista\7\8 .NET Framework comes with the operating systems. So http://relyonsoft.com/techsupportTest/?p=278 need not install it again. You just need to configure it from control panel. Solution 1: Clean system "temp" folder Start > Run > type temp Click enter and try to remove all the files and folders from the temp folder. Start > Run > type %temp% Click enter and try to remove all the files and folders from the %temp% folder Solution 2: Configure Microsoft .NET framework [Applicable only for Windows Vista\7\8\Server 2003\Server 2008 operatings systems] Click Start ->Control Panel ->Programs and Features Turn Windows features on or off -> Select "Microsoft .NET framework 3.5.1" Click OK and restart the system. Solution 3: Open control panel, click Add\Remove Programs and uninstall the .NET Framework. Re-Install the .NET Framework.
