It's only when http://www.applianceblog.com/mainforums/threads/29957-Whirlpool-Duet-Sport-F20 we run a cold or warm load. I've done the trouble shooting in the manual and also taken the top off to look at it. Nothing visible that I can see to give an error code. What can this be?? Any tips would be GREATLY appreciated! Also when I've ran a quick cycle (since we've gotten the error code) the basin just keeps filling with water, and there's only one minute left. ?? Could this be related? what do you think is going on? THanks! Make sure both valves at the water source are turned on all the way. Check for plugged or kinked inlet hoses or plugged screens in the inlet valves. Going by your description, start with the cold water hose. Make sure the water valve is working OK. The F20 f20 error code code is an indication of your washer not detecting water entering it. It may occur with water making it into the machine and without water coming in. Before attempting to diagnose or repair any appliance, be sure that the unit is unplugged from the wall outlet. If there is no water coming in, the first place to start is with the water supply hoses. Shut the water valve off and remove the hose. Be ready because there will be a small amount of water in the hose and it will come out when they are removed. Remove the hose and inspect the filter screen for debris. There are screens on the valve inlets at the back of the machine and these may sometimes become clogged with debris from the pipes. If there is water entering the machine, the F20 is usually due to the system that senses the water level in the machine. The pressure switch or hose are usually the cause of the machine "thinking" that it is not filling with water. If the hose is cracked or otherwise leaks air pressure, the switch will not send the signal to the computer that the water

I'll be helping you with your problem today.Whirlpool uses a flow meter that detects the flow of water entering the washer. If this flow meter does not detect the correct amount of water entering the washer it will sound the F20 error code. Often this repair can be made with out calling an appliance repairman and without ordering parts. Start by removing the washer fill hoses; both the cold and the hot water hoses. Check for proper water pressure from the house. To do so, turn the water on and put the hose inside the washer or a bucket. If water pressure is good, check the water valve inlet screens. Most residential washing machines have inlet screens. The screens prevent minerals from clogging the solenoid. With the hoses removed, you can visually inspect the water inlet screens. If the water valve screens are clear the inlet valve with the screens itself will need to be replaced. To replace the water valve, remove the top o
